The Township is located in the southern most section
of Lorain County and is totally residential/ agricultural.
Population is approximately 1,500 with roughly one
third of the population under the age of 19.

The Huntington Community Park is still in its infancy
and contains a small playground, walking trail, ball
diamond, T-ball field, horse shoe pit, barbeque grills
and a picnic pavilion that was constructed as an
Eagle Scout project. The current Community Park
is centrally located on the Township campus along
with the Historical Society’s recently restored one
room school house. The campus also contains three
acres set aside specifically for the use of
emergency medical helicopters.
