Beautiful Huntington Township......

Huntington Township is located in the southern most section
of Lorain County and is totally residential/agricultural.
Population was estimated at 1341 on the 2010 Census.  The Township has 19.99 miles of Township road to maintain for residents and employs one full time and four part time employees.

The Huntington Community Park is still in its infancy
and contains a small playground, walking trail, ball
diamond, T-ball field, horse shoe pit, barbeque grills
and a picnic pavilion that was constructed as an Eagle Scout project. A baseball concession stand / small equipment storage shed was recently added.  During the summer/fall of 2013 two dug out covers were constructed on the two baseball diamonds with donations from AMVETS, HUNTINGTON GRANGE and private contributions.  The current Community Park
is centrally located on the Township campus along
with the Historical Society’s recently restored one
room school house. The Township campus also contains three acres set aside specifically for the use of
emergency medical helicopters.
We invite you to attend our Trustee Meetings held at 7:00 PM on the first and third Monday of each month at the Township Hall in the old Huntington School building at the corner of SR 58 & SR 162. | Click here for events |
