 Population was estimated at 1341 on the 2010 Census. The Township has 19.985 miles of Township road to maintain for residents and employs one full time and four part time employees.

Halloween Walk in the Park!
Second annual Halloween Walk at the Park is October 24th 1:00-3:00 pm. Bring the kids for a fun filled fall adventure!  Walk the Park, visit the Museum and One Room School House, visit with our Township Impact Patrol from the Sheriff!  Costumes encouraged....

The Park was awarded a grant through the Lorain County Health District to promote healthy living by putting in water fountains, shade over benches, new playground equipment and set up doggy do stations.  Lorain County Solid Waste Management also awarded a grant to the Township for half the cost of playground equipment.  Stop by and enjoy the improved walking trails and let the children play on the playground!  The Park is a gem in the middle of the Township!  Join the Park Committee to promote residential use of the Park by calling Trustee Mary Beth Derikito  440-647-2590.  Click here to visit the Park page.

Lorain County General Health District flyer on Flu Shots is available by clicking here.  There are no out of pocket costs for flu shots provided by the District and no one is turned away due to inability to pay!

The Trustees would like to invite residents to attend all public meetings.  The Trustees meet the first and third Monday of every month in the Township Hall (School building) on the corner of SR 58 & SR 162 at 7:00 PM.  Any changes to this regular schedule will be posted.  In addition to these Trustee meetings there are monthly meetings of the Fire District Board, Ambulance District Board, Rural Lorain County Water Board, LORCO Board and Office on Aging that are open to the public.  On the "SERVICES" tab you can find more information on these regular scheduled meetings and find a link to their respective websites for updated information.  Your Trustees invite residents to attend and be informed!   | Click here for events |

The 2015 Chip and Seal work has been completed by Sarver Paving. And the Clark Road (South of Bursley) motor paving work is complete.  Drive with caution on these loose gravel roads.    
Call any Trustee when you spot an area of road that is a concern.
